The atmosphere was electric as streets filled with joyous locals and enthusiastic visitors. Even though the streets were closed, the spirit of the city felt alive and vibrant. We absorbed the energy that enveloped us, joining in the festive cheer as the competing contrade (districts) prepared for the exciting horse race.

It was a sight to behold—the colors of the flags, the sound of drums echoing through the narrow lanes, and the passionate cheers of the crowd created an unforgettable experience. We embraced the essence of tradition, witnessing how the Palio unites the people of Siena in an overwhelming display of communal pride.
